September 26, 2005 Ms. Anne Perrah, Administrator Dear Ms.Perrah, I am writing you this personal (and open) letter, because I want to tell you how much we appreciate your school, and to let you know how much we value our son's educational experience at Montessori Children's House. Our sons name is David Kim. He attended MCH for 3 years from when he was 4 years old to 6 years. I had attended the many different city children programs with David from a "Mommy & Me" class to parent involved pre-K classes, from when David was 2 1/2 years till he was almost 4 years old. About that time, I realized that David needed to be learning how to be independent and to be prepared for the coming school years. I was encouraged by David's Sunday school teacher to look for the Montessori school. I searched the Internet and visited the schools near my home. After visiting several Montessori and other private schools, I found myself most impressed by the natural setting of MCH. When I first visited the school, I appreciated Ms. Perrah's friendly, non-businesslike manner. There were so many rich experiences that I could see David absorbing during his years in MCH. The following will convey only a small part of the educational and life skills experience that David has received.
We are currently sending our second child, Rachel, to MCH. We have no doubt that she will achieve in her way what David achieved. It is beyond my words to express how dedicated Ms.Perrah and her staff are to the childrens learning and well being. In our experience, the entire staff at MCH are wonderful and caring people. It would be difficult to find a team of teachers more consistently patient and loving to children. Another point important to parents: there has been no staff turnover since I met them 5 years ago. This is all any parent could ask for; a child who loves learning and who really wants to do well in school. Another sign of a good teacher is when the children love coming back to visit their "old school." David does. Thank you for your dedication and your excellent academic program. |
Sincerely,

Joseph Kim and Karry Park
