Open Letter of Recommendation

For Montessori Children's House

To whom it may concern,

We were introduced to MCH through a friend whose son was attending at that time. She had searched about twenty different schools before she finally decided on MCH. She had so many wonderful things to say about this school that I was curious to find out more. When I walked through the gate, I was impressed by the large backyard where kids ran around so freely. I loved the organic vegetable garden and the animals in the backyard. I felt this kind of environment would be helpful to encourage our son's emotional development.

At that time our son was four years old; he was gentle, reserved, and interacted little with other children. As time went on, we observed him being more assertive, becoming a leader among his peers. I feel that loving encouragement from the staff helped him to feel secure to think and be at his optimal level. He was doing multiplication at age five. He loves to read, solve math problems, and talk about science. Everyday he had something exciting to share that he had learned at Montessori school. It was amazing to watch our son bloom with such enthusiasm for learning.

He has moved on to public school now, and he is doing wonderfully. He wants to do his best at whatever he does. I truly feel that the years our son spent at MCH have helped him tremendously in developing social skills, and also becoming an intellectual person. He is comfortable in any learning environment, and always eager to learn new things.

MCH helped our son build a solid foundation for learning. We really appreciate the caring and the dedicated work from the MCH Staff. As parents, my husband and I believe in our hearts that in the seven years of his life, sending him to Montessori Children's House has been the best decision we have made for him.

As further evidence of our appreciation of the value received from an MCH educational beginning, our three-year old daughter is now a student at MCH, and we couldn't be happier with her progress and her already obvious love of learning and "going to school."

Sincerely,

Peter and Jenny Cho
